Travels

Hey all! I forgot to post last week, but better late than never haha.

Today I will post about a travel that I made the last summer with my friends, to the beach.
I remember that this trip was quite improvised. Since a long time that we wanted to travel to the beach, and stay there for 2 or 3 days,
The first problem was to find a day when everyone could go, but it was possible. Later we had to find hosting, and nobody did anything, so I was the one who took care of that. Now we needed to buy the tickets, and pack up.

When we were there we had to cook, and I went raffled, We had a lot of  noodles and I miscalculated the amount. I made noodles for 10 and we were 4, Noodles with sauce and viennese, the lunch was quite bad.
After lunch we went to the beach  and we take turns to take care of things, After the beach we back to the hosting, to shower and go somewhere at night, Before we back to the hosting we go to a "picá" named "La picá del Martin" to eat a "bajón". The last day we almost missed the  bus. This summer we want to go near Pucón with another friend who could not go to the beach.

In this moment I dont have a picture that do not ruin our reputation, but I have one after the travel :D

A Subject

Hey all, today I will post about about a subject I have enjoyed studying this semester, Laboratory Techniques. This subject was divided into two parts. First, the theorical part, where a teacher prepared us for the practical activity, to perform activities without many problems when we have to go to the laboratory. The theorical part lasts 50 minutes and then comes the practical class, so we go to the laboratory.

In the Laboratory basically we apply what the teacher taught us in the theorical class doing a practical activity involving the concepts learned previously. The practical activities take a lot of time, that's why the practical part lasts 3 hours and 30 minutes,  there are times when the activities do not go as they should and we must to start again, but despite that, the activities still beeing cool.

I like this subject because I can apply what I learned in the classroom, and because I always liked the experimental activities.

In this subject, written tests are complicated, but I passed, there are still two written tests remaining and I hope to approve.

Nikola Tesla

Hey buddies, today I will post about a person that I admire.

Well, the person that I admire is Nikola Tesla. He was an inventor, electrical engineer, and a physicist, born in 1856. Nikola Tesla. He is known for his inventions in the field of electromagnetism and specially for his great contribution to the design of the alternating current electricity supply. Also he is the true inventor of radio, but he did not receive the credit.

But I admire him for another reason too, he wanted to provide free energy and wireless comunications to humanity, that's why he worked a lot of years in a project, "Wardenclyffe Tower", as known as Tesla Tower. This tower had a height of 30 meters, which would allow the transatlantic commercial telephony without the need of cabling for that, nevertheless another people had economic interests in the use of cabling, so they boycotted Tesla forcing him to close the Tower and leaving unfinished the project.

As tesla was not interested in money, he did not benefit financially with his inventions, finishing his life poor and alone dying at 86 years.
